1956
Where it all began.. as Courtburn Welding acting as agents for Yates & Macobe Positioning Equipment.

1980
Purchased Murex Positioning equipment from BOC.

1995
Key Plant moves into Liverpool facility (25,500sq ft.) on Regent Road.

2001
Purchases Bode facilities and factory, a 6 acre site with 70,267sg ft of factory; from Bode Positioners in Leek, Staffordshire.

2003
Expands Liverpool facility, purchasing an extra 47,571sq ft from Huntleigh Healthcare.

2006
Key Plant purchases the entire Rental Fleet from Sneep Industries (formerly Traffo Rent) in the Netherlands.

2017
Key Plant further invests in it’s in-house capabilities portfolio, with the purchase of a Polyurethane (PU) Production Facility in the UK.

2019
As part of its continual growth and investment in the weld automation equipment market, Key Plant expands to the USA, opening an office and manufacturing & assembly facility in Houston, Texas.
